Wildstar yowled the battle cry.The six cats started battling.There was screeching and claws,shredding everywhere.Blaze was fighting Foxpelt.Wildstar was against Thornstar.And Stoneclaw was battling the other warrior,Moontail.Thornstar gave Wildstar an uppercut,which knocked him out cold.Blaze hesitated.Thornstar's uppercut made him blast with fury.He bit Foxpelt's scuff and threw him aside.Then he went to go face Thornstar.Moontail took a chance for Stoneclaw's eye.His scratch was deep.Stoneclaw screeched in agony.He hissed while knocking Moontail off of his feet.Stoneclaw jumped on top of him and raked his belly.Moontail yowled in pain and ran.Blood was splattered everywhere.Thornstar aimed for a blow as Blaze launched himself at him.He dodged Blaze's attack and whipped around.Right as he whipped around he went for that blow,but Blaze dodged Thornstar's deadly hit.Thornstar threw an unexpected bite.Just before his teeth dug into Blaze's chest,his side was attacked by something hard.It was Stoneclaw.He held him down with his bloodstained paws."Hello,Thornstar."He said with anger and bitterness in his voice.Thornstar struggled under Stoneclaw's paws."You think you're a true warrior but your not!You never have!You never will!"He screeched."I have a destiny!"hissed Stoneclaw."But that doesn't make you a true warrior!"yowled Thornstar."Every destiny belongs to a true warrior,Thornstar!"said Stoneclaw.He lowered his head to Thornstar."And if you forget that....youll be a goner!"he declared.Thornstar stared at Stoneclaw with his hypnotizing eyes."Oh don't worry,i wont!"He hissed and bit Stoneclaw's ear.Stoneclaw wailed.He let Thornstar go.But before he ran he bit his hind leg.Thornstar dashed away with Foxpelt on his tail."Is Wildstar alright?"he asked Blaze."He's out cold.I dont know what to do!"answered Blaze."I'll go get Wolfpelt!"said Stoneclaw.A few seconds later Stoneclaw came running with Wolfpelt.She checked Wildstar's pulse"He's still alive,but he's badly injured.He'll recover in time for the next Gathering if he gets enough sleep though.Stoneclaw,help me carry him to my den.Blaze,go get Nighttail and bring him back to me.Both of you stay with me afterwards.You two also need some treatment."she demanded.They both did as they were told.Everything Wolfpelt said was right.Stoneclaw awoke in Wolfpelt's den the next morning.Wildstar was out in the clearing talking to Nighttail.He saw Stoneclaw walk out of the den."Stoneclaw!"he called.Stoneclaw looked at him."May i have a word with you?"asked Wildstar.Stoneclaw padded over to Wildstar."Yes sir?"he questioned."Blaze told me how well you fought Thornstar last night,and i was amazed.So i'd like to give you your reward.Come with me to my den."he said.The two cats walked over there.Wildstar padded over to a wide crack in a corner of his den.He dug his paw in it and took out a rock shaped like a cat's head."I found this rock one day when i went out into the forest alone.This rock holds the secret power of Starclan.Whenever you are troubled,you set it in a place where it is comfortable.Then,you lie down in front of it,touch it with your nose,and go to sleep.Someone special in Starclan will visit you in your dream and tell you something to help you solve your problem.But you must do this secretly in a secret place where no one will find you.Got it?"he demanded."Yes sir.I am honored for this.Thank you so much."answered Stoneclaw."Very well.Now go and eat something.But put that away first.Somewhere secret."He ordered him.Stoneclaw left.Blaze ran to him when he came out of the warriors' den."What did Wildstar say to you?"he asked curiously."Sorry,Blaze.I cant tell you."Stoneclaw answered.They went straight to the fresh-kill pile.Stoneclaw picked out a vole.Blaze chose a thrush.The two friends sat by a tree and started eating."I wonder if i will be able to go to the next Gathering thats coming."said Blaze with a mouthful of prey."I hope so."answered Stoneclaw.Then suddenly they heard Nighttail's screech.He came in the camp with his shoulder,belly and nose all raked up and bleeding.Wildstar ran up to him."Their coming!"said Nighttail urgently."Who?"asked Wildstar."Fireclan is coming to attack our camp!!!"yowled Nighttail.
