Wildstar and his warriors flooded out of the Skyclan camp, ready to meet Fireclan in battle wherever it may end up. As Wildstar caught a line of cats in the distance, he quickened his paced until he was a few fox-lenghths apart from Thornstar and his warriors. With a yowl of triumph as if the battle was already won, Thornstar yowled "Fireclan will take back what's rightfully ours!" As yowls of agreement came from Fireclan,Thornstar shot a sly glance at Wildstar. Wildstar waited for the yowling to die down. "That is only if you and your weak warriors can fight!" Wildstar's voice echoed around the forest. The Skyclan warriors yowled with battle-hungry screeches. Thornstar drew his lips back and started growling, then, at once he shouted the battle cry and leaped toward Wildstar. Both clans sprung at eachother with yowls and screeches,the sound of battle carried within them.Stoneclaw and Blaze matched each others battle moves as they fought off muscular warriors the same size as them. Wildstar was grappling Thornstar in an inescapable lock. Blood was shedding everywhere. Tufts of fur where scattered out. Claws and teeth scratching and biting one another. As Stoneclaw and Blaze frightened off a few Fireclan warriors,Wildstar was thrown aside and bowled into the two young Skyclan warriors. Wildstar got back up and sprung back into action. Stoneclaw and Blaze repeated the same as Wildstar. Nighttail was cornered by two muscular warriors. Anger and power grew quickly inside the she-cat as the two warriors taunted her. With an angry screech the Skyclan deputy sprung at one of the warriors, sending the other warrior back with a powerful kick. As the warrior struggled under Nighttail's grasp, Stoneclaw bowled into the other warrior just before it was going to attack Nighttail. But Nighttail ignored the save and raked the other warrior's belly with her claws,sending him fleeing back to the border. Wildstar was struggling under Thornstar's powerful grasp.His body squarely held down, paws flailing in different directions. " This will be the end,Wildstar." Thornstar sneered. "You wouldn't!" Wildstar gasped."Oh,you bet!" Thornstar lowered his head down to bite Wildstar's neck,but missed as Wildstar ducked his head toward Thornstar's fore arm and gave it a hard nip just in time. Thornstar yowled in pain and lifted his paw,giving Wildstar the chance to reverse Thornstar's grasp. Now Thornstar was struggling under Wildstar's paws. He screeched in agony and pain as Wildstar bit hard down on his shoulder. As soon as Thornstar was free from Wildstar's grasp, he leaped onto a boulder nearby."Fireclan! Retreat!!" He yowled. A few heartbeats after he said that Fireclan was back in a horizontal line. "This isn't over yet, Wildstar!" Thornstar sneered in anger." Anytime, anywhere! We are enemies forever!" Wildstar's yowl echoed, followed by yowls of agreement and triumph. With one last angry glare, Thornstar whipped around and raced after his clan.Wildstar and the Skyclan warriors yowled in triumph as Thornstar disappeared in the fog beyond the distance. When the victorious clan returned back to camp,Wildstar called a clan meeting."I could not be more proud of my clan.All of you have fought well in battle,whether it was now or in the past. And now I think its time for Blaze to earn his official warrior name." As Blaze heard his name he stepped out of the crowd of warriors."I hereby call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on this new warrior of Skyclan" Wildstar yowled to the starry sky.His gaze fell back down to Blaze."Blaze,do you promise to uphold the mighty Warrior Code, even at the cost of your life?"Blaze's whiskers trembled with excitement."I do." He replied." Then by the power of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Blaze, from now on you will be known as Fireclaw.Skyclan honors your courage and strength. And we welcome you as a full member to Skyclan." Wildstar declared."Fireclaw!Fireclaw!" Warriors gathered around Fireclaw and chanted his name.Congratulating mews filled the clearing.Wildstar's pride for his clan was swelling inside his heart, but Thornstar's words echoed his thoughts...."This isn't over yet,Wildstar!"
